Ball review:

Smooth and clean through the front and middle part of the lane and very even off of the end of the pattern. This ball is a great ball to use on the fresh on most patterns as its a very predictable strong ball motion throughout the whole lane, for me it compliments my paradox and my red legend pearl as a perfect in between ball.

Ball review:

I have found this ball to very versatile, If you need a ball with sharp downline motion this is the ball for you. This ball gives me a true hockey stick ball reaction downlane. If I need angle or a ball to come off of that dry spot hard this is the ball I go for its great towards the end of a block when you need something clean through the fronts but still has sharp downlane ball motion. By far the most angular ball downlane I’ve thrown in a very long time

Ball review:

This ball is probably one of the best smooth rolling balls I have seen in a long time, and I can only say that Hammer is continuing their Black Widow line the best way they can. it can be used on both short and long conditions, inside and out, flat and house shots.

Another ball for most bowlers. It might be strong for those who doesn’t have a lot of speed, but I could recommend it to all others because of it’s versaitllity.

Ball review:

Black Widow Red Legen is for me a bit earlier than the Black Legend. The Black Legend is one of my favorite balls, and an extremely nice supplement to it. They are both balls I use on fresh and broken down lanes. Absolutely the 2 best polished balls from Hammer right now.

Ball review:

The Black Widow Legend has been an absolute “moneyball” for me. I used it for my victory in Egypt in May 2015, and not least when winning my two European Championship gold medals in Aalborg 2015.

At first I was actually a bit sceptic and didn’t like the motion that much, but after a few games it has been amazing for when the lanes gets dry and you have to go left and start to curve it a bit more. It is very similar to the other Black Widows in its overall motion, yet this ball is a bit different as it is a pearl version. It goes a bit further down the lane than the original Black Widow, but it recovers with an impressive backend reaction. Normally I do not like this type of reaction, but as I never get over/under reaction with it, I can play deeper and with more angle than with other balls.

Ball review:

The Black Widow series needs no introduction, and the newest ball, Red Legend Solid, is just as good as the other ones. I have been a keen user of the Black Widows, and the Solid is a perfect follow up to the Red Legend. I find the Red Legend Solid to read the lane a lot earlier, but still with an impressive backend reaction. Compared to the original Black Widow or Black Widow Legend, it has a quite similar motion but just stronger overall.

The Red Legend Solid is probably the strongest ball in my bag at the moment.

I would recommend this ball to all type of players (and especially to those throwing it fast), who needs an overall strong ball with great continuation.

NB: Video and first test was conducted on London, 44 feet oil pattern.

Ball review:

The Red Legend Solid gives another dimension to the Black Widow-line. The Legend and Red Legend was both clean and angular, but the Red Legend Solid uses the same core, but is a lot earlier and more rolly. This makes it ideal for heavier oil or for fresh patterns.

I really like this step as I can start with the Red Legend Solid on the fresh and get a nice smooth and strong reaction. Then switch to the Red Legend for a cleaner and more angular motion when the patterns starts to break down. And then to the Black Widow Legend when the lanes get dry and I need to have a cleaner ball.

Ball review:

The original Legend and Red Legend were great balls but the new Solid is even better. This ball reads the mids well and keeps going on the back end. It has the same type of motion as the two previous balls but it is a little earlier and handles oil better. It is best suited for medium-heavy conditions where back end motion is a must

Ball review:

I have drilled two different Red Legends so far. One with 45 x 5 1/4″ x 75 with a small hole down and 2000 grit on it. And one with 60 x 5″ x 45 and box finish.

The Red Legend seems a little stronger off the dry than the original Legend and being a little more continous than the Legend.

My pin down is earlier and a little more heavy roll than the pin up, which is cleaner and little more angular and allows me to use the pin up a little later in the block. I think the Red Legend will be good for anyone who liked the Legend.

Ball review:

If you liked the original Black Widow (like everyone else) and looking for something similar, then look no further!

The newest Black Widow release is named Legend and with good reason. It is without doubt the Black Widow release that is closest to the original motion-wise. The Legend is sooo strong and it will definitely be the new benchmark ball for Hammer this year.

My drilling has been working great on both fresh and burned lanes with a strong midlane roll and a very continuous motion. The ball is ideal for players going left but still need some help in the mid part of the lane in order to create good ball motion. I will definitely bring this ball to all ETBF-tournaments this year.

I would recommend this ball to all types of players in need for a bowlingball on house, medium and longer oiling patterns.
