Ball review:

My Gauntlet Fury goes longer than my Black Widow Gold and it jumps off the spot more than the Black Widow Gold. Despite the similarities in asymmetrical bowling balls with pearl cover and 2.50 RG, I find them very different. Black Widow Gold is more controllable, and Gauntlet Fury turns the corner. Gauntlet Fury is sometimes a little bit hard for me to control because it goes so long and hooks so much. I believe this is a ball that will be clean through the fronts at places with more friction and a good option to open the lane with around other bowlers that beat up the pattern

Finish: Box
Layout: 60 x 5 1 / 2 x 55
PAP: 4 1/8 over, 5/8 up
Speed: 26 kmh
Revrate: 460 RPM

Ball review:

The Gauntlet Fury is the pearl version to compliment the original Gauntlet.
This ball gets down lane alot cleaner than the Scandal Pearl and retains good energy towards the end of oil patterns.

My recommendation: A great ball for speed dominant players and players with less hand.

Ball review:

I use this ball when I want to create a stable bowling ball motion. I think this ball is best on medium patterns and all different patterns when it’s starts to dry up. The ball is very clean and goes through the first part of the lane very easy.

Finish: Box
Layout: 6″
PAP: 6 ½ out 23/32 up

Ball review:

This ball is a great addition to the original Gauntlet. It gives you a little more lenght when the original Gauntlet starts to hook in the front. So I typically use this when the pattern has been broken down and I need to move left.

It still gives me great control, so it comes of the spot very smooth, but with a strong motion.
It lets me play deeper inside with out giving me a skid/flip motion, that can’t be controlled

Finish: 500 / 1000 / Factory Finish
Layout: 55 / 4 3/4 / 40
PAP: 5 1/4″ right 1” up
Speed: 26 kmh
Revrate: 450 RPM

Ball review:

The Gauntlet Fury joins the original Gauntlet, the Scandal, and the Scandal Pearl in Hammer’s high performance line. This new release shares the Semtex Pearl CFI coverstock with the Scandal Pearl and pairs it up with the asymmetrical Gauntlet core shape. The 500/1000 Abralon with Powerhouse Factory Finish Polish box finish gives me a good length before making a strong move to the pocket. The Gauntlet Fury provided similar length and similar motion off the breakpoint as the Scandal Pearl, but with more recovery at the back of the lane. Within the testing it seemed that this Ball is a great Addition to the Arsenal of not only high rev Players but also to more Speed dominant Players when Bowling on a transitioned Medium to longer Pattern.
