Ball review:

Legion solid is a quite strong ball. It has 2.50 (RG) and 0.46 (Diff) a medium RG and medium Diff. It is a solid coverstock.

When I test this ball on shorter to medium oil patterns so can I say it corve a lot. But if I throw the ball much faster it was better! And then I test om medium oil patterns with quite much oil on and then it was perfect. This ball make quite much oil and also longer patterns.

But if you are a player with more speed or if you not have so much RPM will this ball be a good ball.

Ball review:

The Legion Solid uses the core of one of my favorite balls of all time; 811c/t.

With the solid coverstock this one comes a lot closer to the 811c/t. Legion Solid picks up easily in the midlane and has a controlled, but continuous backend. I have tried it on a few different patterns and it has looked very good on all of them – especially on the fresh.

Legion Solid is a step down from Paradox – both in total hook and backend reaction, so it will do very well when your Paradox is just a little too much.

Ball review:

The Legion Solid gives me a ball motion that I simply did not have before, it reads early and hooks so much downlane. It reads the middle part of the lane very strong and continues that strong ball motion through the pins. I really think that this is going to fill the gap between my paradox and GB2, this is by far my favourite reactive release over the last couple of months over.

I tend to use this on medium patterns when the pattern starts to dry out or on the long patterns on the fresh to keep a predicable ball motion.

Ball review:

Legion Solid is a very strong archy ball, it looks incredibly good down the lane. Its so controllable and it still keeps a lot of energy for the pocket. In all ways its a full improvement of the first Legion-ball. In my bag, it fully compliments and supports my Paradox (Paradox has more backend), they are an excellent match. Track got a new hit in Legion Solid, its a great ball.

Ball review:

The Legion Solid is one of the better solid bowling balls that I have tested for quite some time. I find the Legion Solid to have an earlier and better reaction down lane compared to the original Legion. It is not as angular in the last part of the lane as I thought, but I think it works very well when the lanes break down and you need a ball in the transition games (e.g. game 2-5).

To sum up compared to the original Legion: It is more predictable, it is stronger, it goes better through the pins and it is better looking.

P.s: I mean that with better looking – black bowling balls with gold inscription is just a good combination 🙂

Ball review:

First impression:

The ball revs up very easy. It shows a good combination of roll and length. The Legion Solid is good to control the back ends. The hook is continuous and controllable.

Advantage:

The ball shows a good energy transfer though the pins. It is easy to see the transition into the roll phase.

Disadvantage:

Rolls to early on dry lanes

Is a little speed sensitive, as far as overpowering the ball

Ball review:

Track Legion, is a hybrid ball and very strong.

With 2.50 (RG) and 0.46 (Diff) Will this ball go down a bit on the lane and the hook a lot.

For me when I play so will this ball hook very mach, almost to much down of the lane on new oiled lane. But after 3 – 5 games when the oil has go down a bit on the lane and mid-lane start to be dry then I can take this ball. It givs me the little extra hook on the end of the lane when the pattern is broken down.

Ball review:

Clean through the fronts clean through the middle and a sharp downlane ball motion that can only be described as the same shape as a hockey stick. If you want a ball thats gonna create sharp angular motion downlane and go through the pins with intent then I highly recommend the Legion. I can create really steep entry angles with this ball with little or no effort. I love this type of ball motion and usually I don’t drill many asymmetric but between this and the paradox I feel I will drill many more. When the paradox starts to fade I jump straight to my legion and have no problem jumping inside people !

This review is done by Løvvang Pro Shop staffer Rasmys Hydahl:

The Legion is a very strong ball. I have only thrown it on medium patterns and for that it is just too much ball. With the box finish the back end I very violent. I’m looking forward to use it on longer patterns with a little more surface.

Ball review:

The Track Legion is an exciting release from Track. Its motion is different from the former Track releases, and I like what I am seeing. I like its asymmetrical ball motion, it is strong off the midlane and goes strong through the pins. I had a bit over/under reaction with it from box, but after giving it a 1500 grit paper, it reads the lane better overall.
